Mosser Lee Organic Horticultural Charcoal provides maximum absorption for water and fertilizer, essential for good plant growth. Uniquely made from dead fruit trees, so no live trees are destroyed in making our charcoal. Horticultural charcoal is essential for potted plants without drainage holes, such as decorator pots, terrariums and dish gardens. Easy to use by either mixing with the soil or place a layer of charcoal in the pot between the stones at the bottom and the soil mix. It is a natural soil conditioner and reduces the effects of overwatering.
